Queensland Infant Mental Health Symposium
The Queensland Infant Mental Health Symposium is a cross-sector event bringing together practitioners, educators, researchers, policy makers, community organisations, and people with lived experience to promote the social and emotional wellbeing of infants and their families.
This annual gathering offers a rich professional learning and networking opportunity, grounded in culturally responsive, family-centred practice. The program is designed to support shared learning across sectors, highlight diverse perspectives including lived experience, and strengthen collaborative approaches to infant mental health.
Across keynote presentations, workshops and discussions, participants explore how we can work together to create safe, nurturing environments for babies and their families during the perinatal period and early years. The Symposium invites attendees to learn, connect and contribute to improving outcomes for infants throughout Queensland.
