Rural and Regional Practice Management Essentials

Topic: Inclusive practice – Supporting vulnerable women in our regions through culturally safe and trauma informed care.

Presented by: Amanda Dalton (CEO) - Protea Place

Take the next step in your practice management career with Rural and Regional Practice Management Essentials.

This practical and industry-specific development series is designed for Practice Managers and Practice Nurses with leadership responsibilities, and administrative staff looking to grow into management roles.

Amanda Dalton is the Founder and CEO of Protea Place Inc, a local Toowoomba charity, established in late 2018, to assist vulnerable women in the region. Amanda created the initiative based on over 25 years of experience in the social services sector after identifying significant gaps and the need to provide support services specific to women.

Please join us in a session aimed at understanding the challenges faced by vulnerable women in our region, what support services are available and how these can be accessed, and what role primary care can play in supporting the vulnerable women in our region.

All sessions must be attended to earn 5 CPD points towards a Graduate Certificate in Health Services Management (AQF Level 8).
