Tools for Culturally Safe Evaluation
CRE-STRIDE has a "Lunch 'n' Learn" session coming up, not only is it deadly but it's free too 😎
What the session will be focussed on: "Tools to Support Culturally Safe Evaluation" presented by Lowitja Institute.
These practical guides, tools and templates have been developed in support of a Lowitja Institute approach to the effective, ethical and culturally safe evaluation of programs and policies that affect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
They are intended for use by experienced evaluators (and evaluation commissioners) who want to improve their practices, and they encourage self-reflection to ensure that practitioners continue their learning journey with each evaluation completed.
Using these tools will support practitioners to:
- counteract racism and embed cultural safety throughout evaluation processes
- undertake community-led co-design of evaluation
- critically reflect on evaluation processes and outcomes.
