IAR-DST National Training for Mental Healthcare
Join us for training in the Initial Assessment and Referral (IAR) Decision Support Tool (DST) for Mental Healthcare.
The National IAR Guidance and IAR-DST has been developed by the Australian Department of Health and is being rolled out nationally.
The workshop will be facilitated by an experienced IAR Training and Support Officer (TSO) from the National TSO Network.
Please note you only need to complete one session.
Learning outcomes:
- Summarise the principles underpinning the national approach to stepped care.
- Summarise the IAR development process.
- Explain the use of IAR Guidance in practice settings to generate a recommended level of care.
- List the levels of care in relation to available regional services
- Identify the principles related to clinical decision making and consumer choice
