Join our Winter Challenge!

Upload at least one shared health summary (SHS) a day to My Health Record per GP in your practice to win up to $800* for training and education for your practice. Regularly uploading SHSs will also help you meet the criteria for ePIP payments.

Your PCLO will support you with training and resources to help you successfully complete the Challenge.

Some tips

  • Make it easy: get into the habit of uploading a SHS whenever you do a care plan, health assessment or immunisation!
  • Upload a SHS in My Health Record for patients taking ongoing medications or requiring specialist care for complex conditions.

Challenge Terms and Conditions

  1. Challenge Organiser: The Challenge is run by Darling Downs & West Moreton PHN (“the PHN”)
  2. Eligibility: The Challenge is open to selected general practices located within the Darling Downs & West Moreton PHN region who agree to participate.
  3. Competition Period: The Challenge will run from 1st June 2024 to 31st August 2024 ("Challenge Period").
  4. Objective: The objective of the Challenge is to encourage GPs in the Darling Downs & West Moreton region to upload at least 1 shared health summary (SHS) per day to My Health Record during the Challenge Period.
  5. Entry Requirements:
    1. General practices must be within the Darling Downs & West Moreton PHN region.
    2. The PHN will directly approach General practices to enrol (up to 20 in the program).
    3. General practices must be willing to engage all GPs within the practice, to each upload at least 1 SHS per day to My Health Record during the Challenge Period.
    4. General practices willing to provide monthly reporting on uploads to MHR.
  6. Challenge Successful Completion Criteria: Practices are deemed to have successfully completed the Challenge based on the following criteria:
    1. The total number of SHS uploads per GP (FTE) in the practice is equal to or exceeds 64 across the Challenge Period; OR pro-rata depending on when they are onboarded to commence the challenge.
      1. That is the PHN wants enrolled practices to achieve 1 upload to MHR per day, for each GP in the practice, for as many days as possible during the campaign period.
    2. The Practice has provided the PHN with monthly reporting from their clinical software to verify the uploads for each month of the campaign
    3. During the Challenge Period, the practice will provide the PHN with monthly reports from their medical software (eg. Best Practice) to evidence the total number of SHS uploads to My Health Record, including a breakdown to show the uploads of all their GPs.
    4. Practices may also need to inform the PHN of a GP’s working status during the Challenge period (eg. part time status) if they believe a pro rata equivalent of the minimum requirements stipulated in point 6a has been met
  7. Rewards: Practices that successfully complete the Challenge in accordance with the criteria in section 6, will receive subsidised education for their practice up to the value of $800. The subsidy may take the form of vouchers or for provision of training to that value, as determined by the PHN.
    1. Eligible practices will need to provide the PHN will details of their preferred training option to utilise the funds
    2. Reward funds will need to be spent by 30 June 2025
  8. Rights and Permissions: By participating in the Challenge, general practices grant permission to the PHN to use their practice name and related information for promotional purposes.
  9. Organiser's Decision: The decision of the competition organiser regarding eligibility, criteria, winners, and any disputes shall be final and binding.
  10. Modification or Termination: The PHN reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the competition at any time without prior notice.
  11. Compliance: General practices are responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards while participating in the competition.
