TALK ABOUT is a way for Darling Downs and West Moreton PHN to ask you about your experience with healthcare in your community. We want to know what you think is working well and what you think could be done better to improve your healthcare experiences.
From 23 March to 4 May 2026, we invited community members and health professionals to share their thoughts and experiences around death and dying. While we recognised this can be a difficult topic to discuss, it is also one of the most important conversations to have. Through these discussions, we sought to better understand what is working well and identify opportunities to improve end-of-life healthcare services across our region.
We’re in the process of gathering feedback and will be sharing a ‘What We Heard’ report outlining the key insights. This will be available on our website and social media channels by June/July 2026.
TALK ABOUT - Marking 5 Years of Impact in 2026
For half a decade, TALK ABOUT has invited people across our region to share their experiences of accessing and delivering healthcare on a wide range of topics. TALK ABOUT has received more than 2,500 respondents over 23 health topics, from Chronic Conditions and Mental Health, to Ageing Well and Digital Health Awareness. Each topic has provided the PHN and our health system partners with the stories and numbers that guide how we can make healthcare better for everyone.
